Fandom loves to like swap Tim dick and Jasonā€™s character traits around like the funniest thing people do with Tim drake is say he has no friends. Sorry but affectionately the looser with no/few friends is Jason Tim had school friends and young Justice love their good friend Tim. Like as a Jason love people literally put ā€œno friends + childhood food insecurityā€ on Tim??? Timothy drake?? Timothy ā€œhanging out with his friends from school + itā€™s possible to make a core four young Justice group hug compilationā€ drake??? You think he has no friendly swag and doesnā€™t get along with people his own age? Thatā€™s Jason. And the people who do it seem to LIKE Tim too but like why are you making your blorbo a looser šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜
NO FRRR ALL OF THIS!!!!!
Tim is not a looser, He's a Sk8ter Boi. He can do cool kickflips and make all these friends. He canonically cheated on his middle school girlfriend too, on top of being Robin, so.
He's probably one of those popular kids

Hey Gorgeous
TimKon, Sports AU, Skater Boi Tim, Hockey Player Kon, Injuries, Humour.
Summary: When an accident lands Tim in the ER the last thing he expects to find is someone who completely captures his attention like nothing else. Despite forgetting their interaction due to his injury, weeks later Tim meets the same guy and has just as strong as reaction as he did the first time. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.
Enjoy! :D
He doesnā€™t know what feeling is currently worse, the agonising throbbing going on inside his skull or the churning nausea in his stomach. He tries to take a deep breath to diminish the thoughts of throwing up but it proves to be impossible to ignore. He tilts his head back, clenches his eyes shut to fight off the blinding lights and presses the ice pack to the side of his head even harder, the coolness doing very little to alleviate the throbbing going on.
ā€œShouldnā€™t be long now Timbo.ā€
Tim groans in response, not that thereā€™s much else he can do. Talking hurts. Hell, even thinking hurts.
ā€œHow you doing?ā€
If Tim could he would glare at his brother for asking such a stupid question. Howā€™s he doing? Like he canā€™t see Tim physically trying to keep himself from throwing up.
ā€œLike I could run a fucking marathon,ā€ he grouses, ā€œhow do you think Iā€™m doing asshole.ā€
ā€œFuck you too Tim. I was just asking.ā€
Tim huffs but doesnā€™t respond. With his eyes still closed he can slowly start to feel the world slipping away, while his head still hurts at least the nausea somewhat has eased. If he could just go to sleep then heā€™d wake up better sometime later.
A rough nudge to his shoulder breaks him out of his reverie. Without meaning for it to a whine escapes his throat. Heā€™s sore, and tired, why couldnā€™t Jason just let him sleep.
ā€œYouā€™re not allowed to go to sleep idiot.ā€ Jason tells him factually. ā€œThe nurse will be with us soon and until you get properly checked out you canā€™t sleep. You know the rodeo kid, this isnā€™t your first time, donā€™t be baby about it.ā€
Tim sighs heavily and whines again. ā€œI know! But give me a break, this sucks!ā€
There's a beat before Jason speaks up, this time he nudges his shoulder gently. ā€œDo you think you can stay awake for a couple minutes while I go and find out how long the nurse will be?ā€
ā€œNo promises.ā€
ā€œTim.ā€
With his free hand Tim waves his brother away. ā€œYes, Iā€™ll be fine. Now go. The quicker this is sorted the sooner we can go home.ā€
Jason mutters something underneath his breath and Tim feels as he get up from the chair next to him and disappears somewhere. Still not having opened his eyes, Tim slouches in his seat and focuses on his breathing and the coldness of the icepack pressed against his temple. As long as he doesn't move he should be fine.
Itā€™s only moments later he starts to feel the world slip away again. His breathing evens out and despite the injury and uncomfortable chair he starts to feel himself relax, perhaps a couple minutes he could justā€¦
A gentle shake of his knee startles him. Tim jumps and immediately regrets the move when his head pulses violently. Moving to sit upright he forces his eyes open and blinks several times to try and
adjust his blurry vision, after a minute or two his vision clears up enough that he can see a stranger crouched down next to his chair.
A very hot stranger at that.
Tim wonders if heā€™s hallucinating or if he did in fact fall asleep and is now dreaming.
The stranger laughs and his smile is suddenly all Tim could see. Straight white teeth, full lips that complement with his tanned skinned, clean shaven. He forces his eyes to move upwards and he tunnel visions onto the strangers eyes, bright blue eyes that seem to sparkle.
The stranger is talking but Tim is too caught up staring at the guy to take any note in what is being said. The man clearly recognises he's not going to get any coherent response from him and puts a hand on his knee and shakes him again, just lightly not enough to jostle him.
ā€œHey, you with me?ā€ Somehow the guy looks concerned and amused at the same time.
ā€œYouā€™re absolutely gorgeous.ā€
Apparently a busted head means heā€™s got a busted filter too.
Laughing, the guy removes his hand off his knee. ā€œThank you. I appreciate that despite the obvious delirium youā€™re experiencing.ā€
Tim continues to stare at him, once more being memorized by this guyā€™s hotness. He has short black hair, amazing jaw line, gorgeous blue eyes and perfect mouth.
Gorgeous is talking and yet again Timā€™s completely zoned out on him. It takes a moment to register what heā€™s saying and Tim blinks, trying and failing, to pay attention.
ā€œIā€™m Conner. I heard your friend tell you not to fall asleep, and it looked like you were just about to do exactly that, so I hope you donā€™t mind me interrupting you. Concussions are tricky things to deal with.ā€
If Tim were in his right mind he would question what this gorgeous man means because it sounds like heā€™s speaking from experience, however heā€™s not and he continues to stare at him transfixed instead.
ā€œI would ask what happened, but I have a strong feeling Iā€™m not going to get a coherent answer out of you am I?ā€
Gorgeous sounds amused and looks at him fondly and Tim canā€™t cope. This guy is not real. He canā€™t be. Timā€™s brain is busted more than expected and now he's hallucinating the most perfect guy on earth in the ER of the local hospital.
ā€œYouā€™re not real.ā€
ā€œI assure you I very much am.ā€ Gorgeous looks away momentarily before facing him again. ā€œYour friend is coming back, hopefully with the news you can now go see a doctor.ā€
The guy stands up as Jason comes into the picture. His brother looks between him and Gorgeous, however before he could say anything Gorgeous is speaking up.
ā€œSorry, I saw him drifting off to sleep and wanted to keep him awake while you were gone.ā€
Jason blinks for a moment before nodding once in thanks. ā€œThanks man, I was gone longer than expected.ā€ Jason turns his attention onto Tim who hasnā€™t moved his attention away from the other man. ā€œCā€™mon, Timbo, the nurse is waiting for us.ā€
His brother bends down and carefully grabs Tim and hauls him up this feet. Tim groans and stumbles as his vision blurs and the world tilts but thanks to Jasonā€™s strong hold on him he doesnā€™t fall down. Together he and Jason work their way across the waiting room in the ER and towards the corridor and as they go Tim couldnā€™t help but voice his experience while waiting for his brother.
ā€œI just hallucinated the most gorgeous guy on the planet Jay.ā€ Jason hums in acknowledgement but it isnā€™t enough of a response for Timā€™s liking. He sloppily hits Jasonā€™s arm where heā€™s holding onto him. ā€œNo. No! You donā€™t understand, this guy was etherealā€¦ literal hotness and he was in there, in the ER!ā€
ā€œSure Timbo.ā€
Before Tim could gush anymore about Gorgeous, a nurse dressed in blue is meeting them and guiding them into a room. After that Tim loses track of time and anything that happens. No longer being fixated on Gorgeous, his focus returns back to the throbbing going on inside his skull and the return of the damn nausea. He groans and wishes it would end.
------
Focusing on his phone in his hands Tim wonders through the hallway heading towards his bedroom. Knowing the route he needs to take off by heart means he doesnā€™t need to look up however when he passes Dickā€™s room and hears his friends name being called Tim pauses and finally looks up from his device.
He observes as Dick and Wally settle onto the bed surrounded by snacks and drinks, theyā€™re chatting eagerly to one another with the TV blearing in front of them. Stepping into the room, Dick had his door open so it was an open invitation really, he glances between the men and the TV.
ā€œWas you talking about Bart?ā€
The men startle and turn towards him, they both blink before smiling.
ā€œTimmy I didnā€™t hear you come in!ā€
Tim raises an eyebrow and motions towards the TV. ā€œIā€™m not surprised considering you have that on. Why is it so loud?ā€
ā€œFor atmosphere!ā€ Wally exclaims. ā€œSports need to be watched on a high volume.ā€
Pulling a face, Tim shakes his head disbelievingly. ā€œNo. It really doesnā€™t.ā€
ā€œYes it does,ļæ½ļæ½ the man argues back. Tim is about to retort when Dick speaks up, stopping the inevitable petty argument from happening.
ā€œWally was saying Bartā€™s at the game tonight. Apparently heā€™s skipped training to be at the match.ā€
Tim turns his attention to the TV to find a hockey match being aired. ā€œBartā€™s at this game?ā€ He didnā€™t realise Bart had been going to the game, he didnā€™t mention it when they caught up just a couple days ago.
ā€œYeah, a mate of his is playing so he got tickets and went with Jamie.ā€
Tim hums. He wonders if this is Bart finally making a move on Jamie or not. Bart insists thereā€™s nothing between them but Timā€™s convinced theyā€™ve at least slept together once already and are just too scared about making it official.
As he watches Tim briefly wonders if heā€™ll get to see his friend on the screen but after seeing how many people are in attendance at the game he knows itā€™s not likely, there are thousands of people there. Just as heā€™s about to turn away and wish the men a good night the camera on screen changes and suddenly thereā€™s a hockey player on the ice having an interview during the warm ups. The sight of the player makes Tim freeze. Thereā€™s something familiar about him but Tim couldnā€™t place what it was. Heā€™s not a fan of hockey so thereā€™s no chance of recognition of any of the players.
This player on the ice is well built, heā€™s without a helmet so itā€™s easy to see his short black hair, high cheekbones and bright blue eyes (after the camera zooms in).
ā€œWhoā€™s that?ā€ The question slips out before Tim could stop himself.
ā€œUh, Conner Kentā€¦ā€ Dick pauses and looks at him for a moment before a sly smile appears on his face. ā€œSee something you like Timmy?ā€
Tim scoffs. ā€œNo. Just curious.ā€ He knows he answered too quickly and defensively for it to be a justifiable lie but he canā€™t shake off the feeling about the guy on the screen. The camera soon changes to the other players on the ice and Tim shakes his head clear his thoughts. Waving to Dick and Wally he promptly exits the room before Dick could start an interrogation.
On the way to his room Timā€™s thoughts are consumed by the man on the screen. Arenā€™t hockey players supposed to be somewhat ugly and a little disfigured due to the obnoxious amount of injures they receive? This Conner Kent is gorgeous and Tim is instantly besotted with him.
Gorgeous.
Tim freezes as it clicks into place. The man on the screen is the same man he met when he was in the ER three weeks ago. The gorgeous man is called Conner Kent, who happens to be a hockey player who also happens to be a blurry mirage in Timā€™s mind.
He doesnā€™t remember a lot about his time spent in the ER while he waited with Jason to be seen by a nurse after giving himself a concussion. Itā€™s all a blur and a lot of blank spaces but in the midst of it all he does recall being transfixed by a stranger who he thought was stunning, Jason certainly made a point about telling him once he recovered a little about how obsessed Tim seemed to be with the man. Itā€™s embarrassing but since Tim couldnā€™t really remember the moment he tried to not think about it too hard.
Now he remembers a lot more thanks to seeing his face on the TV screen. Once in his room and lying on his bed Tim does what any normal person would do and thatā€™s stalk Conner Kentā€™s social media.
There's plenty of photos of him on his own accounts as well as other peopleā€™s. The most surprising however was how Bart is on the guyā€™s Instagram. Tim didnā€™t even know they knew each other. It would explain why Bartā€™s gone to the game tonight if heā€™s friendā€™s with him. As Tim thinks about it Bart often talks about a ā€˜Konā€™ so really Tim can only blame himself for the obliviousness there.
As he stalks Kentā€™s account heā€™s debates on whether or not to message him. Would it be weird? A guy he met in the ER weeks ago sending him a message? Would Conner even remember him?
In the end Tim chickens out and doesnā€™t send a message. Even if he did thereā€™s a chance Kent wouldnā€™t see it because of the sheer volume of messages he probably receives on a daily basis. Tim knows what itā€™s like to constantly get messages from people all around the world due to his popularity in the skating community, so he could take a guess to what Kon has to deal with on a bigger scale being a hockey player.
Realising heā€™s been on his phone and on Kentā€™s profiles for nearly an hour Tim tells himself to get a grip and turns off his phone. He forces himself to get off the bed and decides to be active by getting changed and heads for a late session in the gym. He has some new found energy to burn off.
-----
The thoughts of Conner Kent stays rent free inside his mind for weeks after he finally worked out who Gorgeous from the ER is.
Itā€™s driving Tim insane. What doesnā€™t help matters is how Jason laughs any time he sees Tim, even if itā€™s in passing because one evening he and Tim were out for drinks and Tim let it slip he worked out who Gorgeous was and Jason found it hysterical. Jason isnā€™t letting him live it down. Dick sends him knowing looks anytime they see each other. Thankfully no one else in his family has picked up on his new infatuation because he doesnā€™t think he could handle anyone else knowing.
A few weeks after that night - and if Timā€™s watched several hockey games since then for one particular reason no one needs to know ā€“ he gets invited by Bart to go and watch him race in a competition happening at his college.
Bart is a sprinter for his college athletics team and is even on the list of making it onto the national team. Heā€™s got his final year at college to complete then he can go into the sport full time once he graduates if he wishes too.
Timā€™s gone to Bartā€™s college with their mutual friend Cassie to watch him race. There are hundreds of other people around, all watching the different athletic sports going on. Itā€™s a good atmosphere and Tim is looking forward to seeing Bart not only to race but to win. Tim has all the faith heā€™ll dominate the sprint.
As he and Cassie hover by the stands looking for a space to go and sit, a presence comes up behind Tim and invades his personal space. Preparing to tell this person to fuck off, the words die in his mouth once Tim turns around and sees whoā€™s standing behind him. He stares bewildered and wonders if heā€™s hallucinating.
ā€œYou certainly look much better than the last time I saw you.ā€
Unable to form an answer Tim gapes as Conner Kent grins at him. The man looks good, heā€™s wearing a snapback backwards on his head, a flannel shirt on top of a plain black t-shirt and jeans and boots. Heā€™s smiling and showing off his perfect white teeth as his blue eyes sparkle.
And damn, if Tim thought it had been bad before his infatuation increases tenfold with the man standing right in front of him.
ā€œItā€™s Tim right?ā€
When Kent holds out his hand the movement finally spurs Tim into action. He smiles tightly, feeling embarrassed, and shakes his hand. ā€œIā€™m Tim. I ā€“ I mean yes, yeah Iā€™m ā€“ Iā€™m Drake, Tim Drake.ā€
Tim wants to go die in a ditch. Cassie snorts loudly, barely covering up the sound with her hand and opposite him Conner looks amused. An awkward silence entails after Timā€™s stuttered confirmation, he stands there staring at Conner who simply stares back just as intensely. His mind is blank and he struggles to come up with a conversation topic to break the silence between them.
In the end Cassie saves the day, she nudges Tim with her elbow and points off to somewhere in the crowded stands. ā€œI see a space, Iā€™ll grab us some seats.ā€ She pauses and turns to Conner. ā€œAre you joining us?ā€
Conners gaze flickers between Tim and Cassie as he answers, like he canā€™t make himself pull away from looking at Tim. Tim is both flustered and flattered by the idea.
ā€œSure if you donā€™t mind me joining you? I know one of the racers but I didnā€™t bring anyone with me to watch.ā€
Cassie nods eagerly and nudges Tim again with her elbow this time more pointedly and then leads the way to the free seats sheā€™s seen. The three of them sit down with Cassie deliberately putting Tim in the middle. He shoots her a glare and she smiles back unapologetically.
He turns to Conner and ignores the butterflies going on inside his stomach as he speaks to the gorgeous man. ā€œWho do you know thatā€™s racing?ā€
Tim figures it would be Bart but as a hot shot hockey player Conner probably knows a lot of people and upcoming athletes.
ā€œWell,ā€ he starts sounding amused, he grins lightly at Tim, ā€œheā€™s a mutual friend of ours believe it or not. Bart Allen? Short, wild hair, super-fast and never knows when to shut up, sound familiar?ā€
Tim laughs and nods his head. ā€œYes. He does sound familiar. Thatā€™s why Cassie and I are here too. Bart also invited us.ā€ Thereā€™s suddenly a loud cheer from the crowd and as he looks forward Tim realises theyā€™ve started up the competition finally. He looks and finds that Bart isnā€™t racing yet, heā€™s in the third or fourth heat.
A tap on his arm gets his attention and he turns back to Conner who is now looking at him almost critically. His eyes drift up to his temple before locking gazes with him again. ā€œHey so I was serious earlier, you look much better than last time. Has the injury all cleared up? Can I be nosey and ask what happened? Wait ā€“ do you even remember what happened, do you even remember me in the ER. Wait! If you donā€™t remember I havenā€™t even introduced myself!ā€
Tim feels his heart swelling up. Not only is the man gorgeous but heā€™s also adorable! He canā€™t cope. To stop Connerā€™s panicked rambling Tim places his hand on his forearm and squeezes lightly. ā€œHey, itā€™s fine! I do remember you, believe it or not. And yes, the concussion has long since healed.ā€
Conner breathes out and his shoulders relax and he chuckles. ā€œOkay, okay. Good. So can I ask what happened? You were pretty out of it.ā€
Tim huffs and the desire to go die in a ditch returns. Itā€™s embarrassing and he doesn't want to talk about it, however Connerā€™s curious gaze has him opening his mouth before he could protest.
ā€œI was trying a new trick on my board, I misjudged the height and ended up face planting the floor. Thank god for my helmet, I was lucky to only be dealing with a concussion and a few bruised bones. My brother took me to the ER, I got briefly checked out before being admitted and forced to wait in the waiting room until they could properly see me.ā€
Tim pauses as the next heat of races start up. They look onwards silently before turning to one another again when they find Bart isnā€™t racing yet.
After a thought pops into his head Tim frowns and turns to Conner, and thatā€™s when he realises he never let go of Connerā€™s arm and forces himself to do so. His hand suddenly feels so empty and cold as he no longer holds onto Conner.
ā€œWhat were you doing in the ER?ā€ He raises an eyebrow in mock accusation. ā€œAlso you never said about being a hockey player, you werenā€™t injured that night right?ā€
Conner lets out a nervous laugh, he takes his hat off and runs a hand through his hair before putting it back on again. ā€œYou didnā€™t really need to know that I guess? I mean you were really out of it, Iā€™m pretty sure if I tried to give you any information you would have forgotten it.ā€
Tim huffs and refuses to comment. Yes he had been out of it and Conner is right on that front, but still.
ā€œMy brother was actually the one in the ER. My dad was him and I was waiting in the waiting room for them to be done. He fell over and broke his wrist.ā€
ā€œAw,ā€ Tim coos, ā€œthat sucks for your brother. Is he alright?ā€
Conner waves it aside, ā€œyeah heā€™s fine. Heā€™s twelve, heā€™ll bounce back in no time at all. Heā€™s excited to have a bright yellow cast on his arm.ā€
Tim snorts. ā€œKids have it so easy donā€™t they.ā€
ā€œThey sure do.ā€
A lull in the conversation soon develops but it was good timing as Bart was finally up to race. The three of them shout encouragements and cheer the loudest as Bart wins his race, beating his competition by storm as they knew he would. Since he won heā€™ll be through to the semi-finals which is happening after many more track events.
Cassie wonders off after the race, claiming sheā€™s going to find some food and drink and grabs their own orders. After sheā€™s disappeared Tim turns back to Conner to find him already looking at him.
Tim smiles feeling unsure with the attention. ā€œWhat?ā€
Not saying anything Conner brings up his phone and brings up Timā€™s Instagram profile and shows it to him. ā€œIā€™m not the only one whose keeping secrets, I didnā€™t know you were an Olympic Skater.ā€
Tim rolls his eyes and looks away, feeling his face flush. ā€œYeah a skater who managed to give himself a concussion. Weā€™ve made it clear I wasn't exactly with it when we were in the ER.ā€
Conner shrugs and Tim looks back in time to see Kon press follow on the screen, at the same time he feels his phone vibrate in his pocket, no doubt being that exact notification. A smile makes its way onto his face and soon enough he finds himself grinning goofily. This man, he has no idea what this guy is doing to him.
ā€œHow did you know I was a hockey player?ā€ Kon questions after a few moments of silence. Cassie hasnā€™t returned yet and Timā€™s pretty sure sheā€™s delaying it on purpose. He shrugs in response to Connerā€™s question, trying to be nonchalant about his answer.
ā€œI honestly donā€™t remember much from that night, but a few weeks afterwards I saw you on TV playing a game. It clicked in my mind then.ā€
ā€œHuh. Fair enough.ā€
ā€œI donā€™t really follow hockey, I wouldnā€™t have known if I didnā€™t see you on the screen.ā€
ā€œItā€™s not for everyone admittedly, I love it though.ā€
ā€œYou love getting slammed into boards and getting into fist fights on sharp ass steel blades?ā€ Tim couldnā€™t help but dig at the sport. Also itā€™s a call back to Konā€™s recent game where he both got slammed and did the slamming into the boards, also where he threw his gloves off and got into a fight.
Conner stares at him, clearly making the connection between his dig and the game in mind. A beaming grin appears on his face. ā€œYou say you donā€™t like hockey and yet you watched my game?ā€ His facial expression then changes as his mind catches up with Timā€™s other comments, Conner rolls his eyes. ā€œAnd thereā€™s more to the sport than that, just fyi.ā€
ā€œSure.ā€ Tim retorts.
ā€œThere is! I donā€™t have the time right now to tell you everything about how itā€™s much more than that, weā€™ll need an entire evening for me to achieve that. Thatā€™s not even getting started about your sport!ā€
ā€œOh, donā€™t you go there!ā€ Tim warns him mockingly. ā€œI could easily beat your arguments on hockey over skateboarding any day.ā€
ā€œOh yeah?ā€ Kon says suggestively, he raises an eyebrow and sticks his chin out. ā€œHow about we arrange a time to do just that.ā€
At his words Timā€™s heart skips a beat. This seriously couldnā€™t be happening.
ā€œArgue about whoā€™s sport is better? Sure. As long as thereā€™s food Iā€™m down.ā€
ā€œAlright, give me your number and weā€™ll arrange a date.ā€
A date. A date. Theyā€™re going to organise a date to talk about their respective sports. Itā€™s not the sort of date Tim had been imagining with Gorgeous but heā€™ll take it.
ā€œFine. Give me your phone.ā€
They exchange their numbers and save the new contacts. It goes silent between them for a beat before Conner leans in and speaks in a lower tone, gone the competitiveness and confidence, now thereā€™s shyness and apprehension.
ā€œIn all seriousness, I genuinely would like to go on a date with you. Not to, yā€™know, talk about just sportā€¦ā€
Timā€™s lips quirk up, and he couldnā€™t help but feel relieved and yet excited. He also leans into Conner, letting their shoulders press together and says, ā€œI would like that too. Iā€™m free the weekend if you are?ā€
ā€œI have a game Saturday but Iā€™m free Sunday,ā€ he pauses, clearly thinking about something before adding on, ā€œI can get you a couple of tickets to the match if you want.ā€
Timā€™s nodding without any hesitation. ā€œI think that would be great, thanks.ā€
Conner grins at him and bumps their shoulders lightly. Tim returns the gesture and they settle down to watch the rest of the competition in companionable silence. When Cassie returns with their food she gives them knowing looks and nods at Tim approvingly. Tim rolls his eyes but is unable to tamper down the goofy grin on his face.
He may have to thank Bart after this is all over for inadvertently bringing he and Conner together because Tim sure as hell wouldnā€™t have approached Conner by his own doing.

ā€œWell thereā€™s contract magic- thatā€™s what Constantine does, along with the majority of prevalent magic users.ā€ Tim nudged her foot out of the way, continuing the chalk circle around them. Sam turned to follow, wondering how he managed to keep the circle so even.
ā€œWait, whoā€™s Constantine?ā€ Tucker asked. ā€œTheyā€™re not in the files.ā€
ā€œHeā€™s a pain in everyoneā€™s ass.ā€ Danny muttered. ā€œHeā€™s in contract with half the Creatures on this side of the realms. You know the amount of ghosts I got complaining to me cause he tricked them better than they could when they went under contract?ā€
ā€œHnn, yeah most wouldnā€™t take too nicely to getting tricked. Salt please.ā€ Tim handed the chalk to Tucker in exchange for salt from the bag heā€™d shoved into the other teenā€™s arms. ā€œAnd then someone like Zatanna is Born with her magic, but Born are rare, so I doubt one of them would be targeting you three specifically. Leaves us with Creature or Cursed.ā€
Sam watched in mild amusement as Danny tried to smudge the chalk-and-salt lines, static bursting from the point and making him recoil. ā€œCreature, that would be fae-things right? Ghosts, demons, whatever is made of magic or magic adjacent?ā€
ā€œBasically. Salt will help with that. The chalk is hopefully for anyone who tries to cast like how I do. Although trying to harness magic by manipulating curses is rare since it involves far too much grave and museum robbing. Lucky for me, mom and dad did the legwork, so I havenā€™t needed to rob a grave yet. Mind setting this cat pair at the northern and eastern points of the circle?ā€ He offered two tiny stone cats to her and Sam wrapped her hands around them, the smooth stone unnaturally chilled.

in 1 side we have Massive Angst of Talia and Bruce
on other side we have Okay normal life Clone Talia, Himbo Danny and Damian. Wait that is just Spy x family but Clone x Family.
No kidding. I can't say much for the angst between Talia and Bruce because I don't know their dynamic that well beyond that in one run they were supposedly in love with one another (and still are to some extent) but they're on such ideological opposites that it's never gonna work in the long term. And in another run Talia is just seducing Bruce (which iirc came about from post 9/11 hatred towards the middle east, and resulted in Talia's character being butchered by some asshole).
BUt on the other end we have Nasra, Danny, and Damian. Who I don't think ever really take on a traditional nuclear 'familial' dynamic since Danny and Damian agreed to both be brothers first and foremost - they're not seeking out a father-son relationship with each other, even with Danny occasionally being parental from time to time. And Nasra and Damian would still have an almost sibling-like rivalry towards each other as well (honestly I think it'd be very Tim and Damian-like), I think. That with a mix of "rivalry between little sibling and their older sibling's partner" too. Either way its def not mother-son like in the slightest, but still familial. Even if unorthodox
But either way they are still family with the additions of Sam and Tucker and Jazz! I like to imagine that Nasra and Damian both are actually pretty into art. Damian uses spray paints as his medium, however, and Nasra gets into charcoals and watercolors, and they compare different art mediums when they start tentatively getting along.
OH also unrelated but more on clone^2 but - danny in clone^2 like, killed like three guys when he was 17 because they attacked him and damian and nearly killed them both. Imagine being Bruce and finding that out

Perfectly Imperfect
TimKon, Sports AU, Skater Boi Tim, Hockey Player Kon, Injuries, Hurt, Comfort, Soft Boyfriends, Established Relationship.
Summary: The whole situation is ridiculous. If getting a tooth knocked out this early in their relationship is the start, then Tim has no idea what is instore for his future as he continues to date a professional hockey player. Undoubtedly itā€™ll include a lot of TLC, itā€™s a good thing heā€™s willing to provide that particular service for his boyfriend then isnā€™t it.
A/N: This is for my 'Tooth Knocked Out' square on my Bad Things Happen Bingo Card. This is also a sort of sequel toĀ Hey Gorgeous. You don't need to read that to understand this!
Enjoy! :D
Tim wasnā€™t there when it happened. Which is probably for the best however that doesnā€™t mean finding out over a phone call hours later is any better.
His phone rings as heā€™s taking a breather. Heā€™s currently at practice, surrounded by his team and coaches, working on new routines and new tricks in preparation for the next competition. Going to answer the call Tim frowns at the caller and ID and worry hits him like a truck. This person only ever calls if itā€™s bad.
ā€œWhatā€™s happened?ā€ Tim demands immediately. He walks away from his coach with his skateboard in his free hand and stands to the side for the idea of privacy.
A nervous laugh sounds through the speaker and Tim grits his teeth. ā€œHey Tim, howā€™s it going dude?ā€
He isnā€™t amused. ā€œSparks, you better tell me right now whatā€™s happened or else-ā€ he doesnā€™t get to finish his threat as Sparks wisely interrupts him.
ā€œOkay! Okay, so donā€™t panic.ā€ Tim sighs, nothing good ever follows those words. ā€œHeā€™s fine ā€“ well as fine as can be, but on the most part heā€™s okay.ā€
ā€œThat tells me fuck all Sparks. Whatā€™s happened to Kon?ā€
There's a pause and Tim blinks when a scuffling noise comes over the speaker followed by a new voice. ā€œTim, I swear heā€™s fine,Ā althoughĀ he may have lost a tooth. There was a lot blood. But heā€™s genuinely fine.ā€
Timā€™s brain short circuits. He didnā€™t hear that right did he? Did Pads just tell him his boyfriend has lost a tooth during the game that night?
ā€œCome again?ā€ He speaks into the phone.
ā€œYeah Kentā€™s lost a tooth and has a wicked bruise all along his jaw but heā€™s awake and conscious, weā€™re on our way to his apartment now. Are you there?ā€
Tim has to take a moment to breathe. Then he takes another to stop himself from freaking out. His heart is going wild in his chest and he can only imagine what Kon has gone through and what he currently looks like.
ā€œTim?ā€
Shaking his head Tim puts his attention back on the phone his hand. ā€œYeah, Iā€™ll head there now. Iā€™m at practice so Iā€™m not far.ā€
ā€œAlright see you soon then.ā€
The call disconnects and Tim just stares at it. Of all of the thingsā€¦.
He knew what he was getting into when he started dating Kon. Injuries and other mishaps were just part of the sport Kon plays, hell even his own sport comes with similar risks, however heĀ was notĀ prepared enough for what really could happen to his boyfriend when playing hockey.
This is on a completely different level. Konā€™s lost a tooth. Oh, now heā€™s mourning Konā€™s perfect teeth, he should have guessed it wasn't going to be a thing thatā€™ll last. He does appreciate the heads up though, while Sparks failed terribly at telling him what happened at least Pads took over and actually told him what occurred.
Realising he needs to get moving he pockets his phone, collects his stuff and has a quick word with his coach before making his way to Konā€™s apartment. Itā€™s several blocks away but on the skateboard Tim reaches it in no time.
Using his own key, Tim rushes into the apartment and finds his boyfriend and teammates already there. Kon is settled on the couch with his head tilted back and an ice pack resting on his face. Sparks and Pads are sat on the couch and the arm chair next to him and Tim finds a third team member, Totzy, preparing something in the kitchen.
Tim ignores them and goes straight to Konā€™s side. ā€œOh Konā€¦ whatā€™s happened now huh?ā€ Tim runs a gentle hand through his hair as he takes in the damage. His boyfriend blinks at him, he clearly goes to smile and before he could heā€™s instantly grimacing and staring at Tim with a defeated look.
Slowly Tim peels off the ice pack to get a look at the damage and immediately hisses upon seeing the black and blue across the lower half of his face, his jawline is swollen which makes him lose any of the usual sharpness he has there. Thereā€™s dry blood dotted over his skin from where it hasnā€™t been cleaned off and thereā€™s even fresh blood on Konā€™s lips. Thankfully the rest of his face seems to be okay, even with the dazed faraway look Kon is currently supporting. Tim turns over the ice pack and lays it across Konā€™s jaw once again.
He sighs and sits back, reaching for Konā€™s hand and runs a thumb across his knuckles. Turning to Konā€™s teammates Tim raises an eyebrow at them. ā€œWhatā€™s the damage? How long will he be out for? What can I do to help him recover?ā€
While Tim is used to dealing with bruises or even broken bones, and on occasion concussions, a knocked out tooth and swollen jaw is unknown territory.
Pads, a man in his late twenties with short dark hair and stubble, rolls his eyes at Timā€™s barrage of questions. ā€œTim. Relax. Kent will be out for about two weeks, three at most. The swelling needs to go down and he needs to be able to move his jaw without pain before he plays competitively again, thereā€™s nothing broken so it shouldnā€™t take too long. Heā€™s dazed now because of the shock. A liquid diet is highly advised until he can move his jaw without flinching any time he opens his mouth. Like any other time, make sure he takes his meds, ice and treat the injury.ā€
Tim narrows his eyes at the man. He gets this is probably common for the guy to deal with and he's probably chill about the situation now Kon has been confirmed okay by their medical staff, but his indifference of the situation doesnā€™t stop Tim from worrying.
Not helping his nerves is Sparks on the other side of the couch. The other man who is the same age as him snorts and looks at them with amusement.
ā€œKent will be fine, as Pads said, although unfortunately for you it does mean no blow jobs in the near future.ā€
Tim sends him a dry look and Kon makes a noise of protest. Before Tim could come up with a retort Totzy comes strolling into the living room carrying a water bottle in his hands. He places the bottle down on the coffee table in front of the couch and follows it up by removing the lid and puts a large straw inside of it.
ā€œBon appetite,ā€ he says before moving to sit on the arm of the love seat. ā€œRelax Tim, our boy here is made of strong stuff. Heā€™ll bounce back in no time.ā€
Tim eyes the man before glancing at the bottle on the table. ā€œNone of you are helping,ā€ he mutters forlornly.
He picks up the bottle and examines the contents, a sweet and sharp smell hits him and recognises it as one of Konā€™s strawberry smoothies. He turns to his boyfriend and finds Kon glaring at him, and without saying anything Tim knows what heā€™s thinking. Rolling his eyes he places the smoothie back on the table and stops himself from huffing, undoubtably Kon wants to wait for his teammates to disappear before trying to drink anything. Heaven forbid he gets help with something so basic in front of the other men. Tim gets it, but this isnā€™t the time to have that particular discussion.
After that it wasn't long until the men leave Kon's apartment with their wishes for his speedy recovery. It was only then Kon allowed Tim to help him with the drink, not that he needed much help as itā€™s only his jaw causing the pain and not anywhere else thankfully.
Later on when Tim entered the kitchen for the first time since arriving in the apartment he blinks in surprise at what had been left on the island. He picks it up and examines it closely before pulling a face in disgust and goes back to the living room to confront Kon with it.
He holds up the little see through bag and shakes it. ā€œSeriously? How the fuck did you loose a tooth? Donā€™t you wear a mouth guard to avoid this exact thing from happening?ā€
In the bag was a single, white, and bloody tooth. Konā€™s tooth. The one which should be in his mouth but isnā€™t. It would be funny if it wasn't concerning.
On the couch Kon raises his eyebrows in the fashion of ā€˜are you done?ā€™ before reaching over and grabbing the notepad they found so Kon can write on it as it currently hurts to speak.
ā€˜It broke before the game.ā€™Ā Kon wrote looking unimpressed.
Timā€™s still perplexed. ā€œHow?ā€
ā€˜Dropped it, then accidently stood on it. Thought one game without it would be okay ā€“ clearly not. Fucking typical.ā€™
Tim sighs and runs a hand over his face. ā€œOf all the things Kon.ā€ He looks at the bag still in his hand and shakes his head. ā€œRight well, youā€™re a rich hockey, you can afford a replacement ā€“ if you want one ā€“ so once your mouth is healed weā€™re getting you to a dentist asap.ā€
Kon shrugs at his demands and Tim canā€™t tell whether he agrees with what heā€™s saying or doesnā€™t care either way. Tim glares at him, heā€™s not letting Kon ruin his perfect smile because of this! Heā€™ll probably look fine with a tooth gap, thereā€™s never a time when Kon doesn't look attractive, but his perfect smile is one of the things that drew Tim from the beginning. Of course if Kon isnā€™t really bothered about it heā€™s not going to force him to have a new tooth but Tim can be pretty persuasive when he puts his mind to it.
A moment later Kon blinks at him and writes something down on the pad when he turns it for Tim to read, Tim's heart skips a beat.
ā€˜Love you, thank you for caring.ā€™
Tim sighs, feeling both exasperated and like heā€™s about to combust from the overwhelming feeling of emotions he just got struck by. While itā€™s not the first time theyā€™ve shared those words, they donā€™t Ā mean anything less now than what they did the first time. Tim moves to the couch and cups Konā€™s cheeks gently in order to not hurt him and presses a tender kiss to his forehead before leaning forward and pressing their foreheads together.
ā€œI love you too. And all the questionable injuries you receive.ā€
Kon huffs and pulls away from him in order to write something down. Tim reads his words once heā€™s finished and snickers.
ā€˜Are you forgetting how we met? Iā€™m not the only one who gets questionable injuries.ā€™
Tim couldnā€™t really argue against that. Heā€™s just as injury prone as Kon. After all, they met in hospital when Tim had been there due to a concussion he gave himself when trying a new trick on his skateboard, Kon had been there because his brother had broken his arm.
ā€œTouchĆ©.ā€ Tim laughs. He sits down next to Kon and leans his head on his boyfriends shoulder and grasps his hand in his. ā€œFancy watching something? We have a couple hours before you can take your meds, we can watch a film, shower then go to bed?ā€
Kon nods and Tim gets up to get the TV remote before resuming his place next to Kon. He grabs the blanket from the back of the couch and together they snuggle up and get comfortable. Tim even lets Kon choose the film they watch because he feels marginally bad for whatā€™s happened to his boyfriend.
======
It takes nearly two weeks for the injury to fully heal. Kon is talking normally and able to eat solid foods without an issue and regarding hockey, heā€™ll be cleared to play on the roster at the weekend. As soon as Tim found this out, he immediately took Kon to go and get a new mouth guard made for him, the tooth replacement is currently being made, but Tim isnā€™t letting his boyfriend play a game of hockey without some form of protection in his mouth.
ā€œYouā€™re being over dramatic, I hope you know that.ā€ Kon huffs as they leave the appointment for the guard. Itā€™ll be ready for the next day, one day before Konā€™s first game back.
ā€œMaybe, maybe not. I donā€™t care.ā€
Kon comes up beside him and throws an arm over his shoulder, tugging him in close. Tim rolls with it he always likes having Kon close, even when heā€™s being dismissive about his own health.
ā€œKon you complained for an hour the other day about having food stuck in the gap between your teeth, having a new guard will stop any other teeth from falling out and having a new tooth will close said gap.ā€
Kon chooses to not respond to that and together in silence they reach the car and begin the journey back to Konā€™s apartment. Tim couldnā€™t help but laugh to himself at the ridiculousness of the situation, this is just the start, god knows what else heā€™ll have to deal with in the future when it comes to Kon and his injuries while playing professional hockey. Then again Tim could easily give Kon a run for his money in the injury department, it looks like theyā€™ll just have to look after each other when itā€™s necessary.

Tim would be absolutely feral over Valā€™s hoverboard and armor. This skater boy deserves a high tech skateboard. Let him have one!!

Tim snorts behind him. ā€œSorry, Iā€™ll let you lose in peace.ā€ ā€œLike youā€™re any better,ā€ Kon scoffs, half in annoyance and half just to watch the cocky smirk curl across Timā€™s face as heā€™s enticed over by the challenge. ā€œMove over,ā€ Tim orders, plucking the controller from Konā€™s hands. - Tim was a boy. Kon was also a boy. Can I make it any more obvious? Some casual bickering while playing video games leads Kon to claim that Tony Hawk isn't actually that good at skating, and well. Tim took that personally.
